Born in Lisbon and passionate about the sea, Nuno learned to respect it through surfing, an activity he started at only 12 years old. He started to dive in the late 90’s. After some international diving trips, he decided to turn this hobby into a profession. He moved to Mexico in the beginning of 2003 where he started working as a full-time recreational diving instructor. Later, he became a cave diving guide (Cenotes / Mexico) and, a proposal to lead diving centers, led him to embark on a career of almost 10 years, passing through destinations such as Dominican Republic, Cape Verde, Curaçau, Jamaica and Brazil. Eventually he returned to Portugal in 2010 and setup roots in Lagos.
Teaching diving continues to be his favorite activity, being it introducing scuba diving to beginners or teaching the newest Instructors.
